Vuggles farm Weir
Sussex Ouse:

There’s a water sharing agreement with the Ouse Angling Preservation Society. This gives CDAS members access to 8 miles of  it in total . The river changes in character from Newick to Barcombe. At Newick its generally quite quick and good for chub, roach and perch (and eels). At the Anchor Inn it changes to a slower moving river with Carp and Bream more predominant Below Barcombe Mill its tidal with a good run of sea trout. The upper part is only very likely fished you are unlikely to encounter another angler. In total there’s unrestricted access to 3 weirs and some access to Barcombe weir. There is also another sluice on St Andrews stream that I seen being fished. There are also a few barbel to be caught although to be fair there doesn’t appear to be many. Click on the lowest picture for more on Barcombe Mills.

The top 2 pictures show the weir at Vuggles farm the lower showing what may be a fish ladder. Prehaps the sea trout do get this far up.
