Rory Stewart - I have just become a member of Piltdown Pond, this was my 3rd visit and I bagged this 15lb 8oz common carp. I was lucky to land it as my drag was not set right, when I struck lots of line came out and ended up in a big knot so I had to hold the line and bring it in that way. Luckily it did not but up to much of a fight.
It just gets better and better every time I go to Piltdown Pond. I catch some nice carp but on my 4th visit I had this 7 lb pike which I got on a boilie don’t know if it was the boilie or the seafood that I had in a PVA bag that helped me catch my first pike.
A nights fishing at piltdown pond baged me a 14lb 8oz common carp which I got on tiger nut boilies and this 16lb mirror and only thing I need now is a mate that can take a good pic.
